What does a $2,000-per-month law firm marketing package include?

At this level the question is not what is included. It is what you choose to leave out.

By Alon Darvish · Former Bankruptcy Attorney, 17 Years7 min readUpdated October 2026
Short answer

What does a $2,000-per-month law firm marketing package include? Enough for one channel done properly — usually local search and your own site. Not enough for SEO, content, paid search and social at once, and any package promising all four at $2,000 is spreading itself to nothing.

$2,000 buys real work if it is pointed at one thing. Divided four ways it buys a report.

  • Published pricing — $2,500, $3,500 and $4,500 a month, on the site.
  • Month to month. No contract is holding you anywhere.
  • A former attorney of 17 years who filed 5,000+ cases works your account.
  • You see your rankings move for 14 days before you are billed a dollar.
  • Law firms only — no other industries, ever.

What $2,000 a Month Realistically Covers

At a competent labour rate of $75 to $200 an hour, $2,000 buys somewhere between ten and twenty-six hours of work a month. That is the constraint the entire package has to live inside, and no arrangement of words on a proposal changes it.

Pointed at one channel, ten to twenty-six hours is a real programme:

  1. Google Business Profile, maintained properly. Categories and services kept complete, weekly posts, photographs added, Q&A answered, reviews responded to, and the business information kept consistent with your site. For most small firms this single line produces more than anything else at this budget.
  2. Two to four pages of real content a month. Practice-area pages and locally-aimed pages written for how people actually search, not keyword padding.
  3. Site maintenance. Technical fixes, page speed, internal linking, schema, keeping the information accurate.
  4. Citation consistency. Making sure your name, address and phone number match everywhere they appear, which holds the local signal together.
  5. Reporting you can act on — rankings for your target terms, call volume, and which pages are producing.

The Choice That Decides Everything

The real question at $2,000 is which channel gets the hours, and the answer turns on your practice area's economics.

★ Where to Point a $2,000 Programme
  • Local search, for most firms. Family law, criminal defence, estate planning, immigration, employment. The Map Pack takes a large share of clicks in these searches and the profile costs nothing to run beyond labour.
  • Organic content, for low-urgency practice areas. Estate planning and business formation clients research before calling, so pages that answer their questions do the selling.
  • Paid search, only with a separate media budget. If the $2,000 has to cover the ads too, there is not enough left of either. In competitive personal injury markets a single click can exceed $50.

What does not work is one-quarter of each. Four channels at five hours a month each is a presence, not a programme, and none of them reaches the level where it compounds.

From 17 Years of Practice

My first real marketing budget was about this size and I insisted on covering everything with it, because leaving a channel out felt like leaving money on the table. Two years later the only thing that had ever produced a case was the Google listing I had been treating as an afterthought.

Where This Budget Hits Its Ceiling

Being honest about the limits is more useful than a longer inclusion list.

Competitive paid search is out of reach unless the media budget is separate and substantial. $2,000 of clicks in a contested personal injury market is a few dozen visits.

Content volume is modest. Two to four pages a month is meaningful over a year and slow over a quarter. Firms wanting forty pages indexed by month three need a larger programme.

Multi-location work strains it. Each office needs its own profile, its own page and its own citation set. Three locations divide the same hours three ways.

Video and photography are extra. Neither fits inside this labour budget and both help.

What the Next Tier Adds

Attorney Pro Marketing's published tiers are $2,500, $3,500 and $4,500 a month, and the steps between them are specific rather than vague. Foundation at $2,500 covers a site of up to about 15 pages, the Google Business Profile built and posted weekly, review responses, AI-visibility basics and ranking reporting. Growth at $3,500 roughly doubles the site to around 30 pages with practice-area content and adds Google Ads management, Local Services Ads setup, call tracking with recordings and a review-request system. Dominate at $4,500 takes the site past 50 pages with location pages and ongoing content, covers multiple Google Business Profiles, manages Local Services Ads rather than just setting them up, adds a landing page per practice area, and includes a monthly strategy call with Alon.

What does not change across the tiers: the site is built within three days with no setup fee, advertising is billed to your firm directly by Google so the media line stays separate and visible, the domain, site files, content, ad account and Google Business Profile are all registered in your firm's name, and the work is done by Alon Darvish, a former attorney of 17 years who filed over 5,000 cases. Month to month with 30 days' notice. And we record your rankings on day 0 and show you the movement on day 14 before billing you for that period, which at this budget level is the difference between a decision and a gamble.

See it before you pay for it.

We snapshot your rankings on day 0, build and launch your site within three days, and show you the movement on day 14. If it has not moved enough to be worth continuing, you owe nothing for that period and you keep the Google Business Profile work.

It is enough for one channel properly resourced — typically local search and your own site, which is where most small firms see the strongest return. It is not enough for SEO, content, paid search and social simultaneously, because at a competent labour rate $2,000 buys roughly ten to twenty-six hours a month in total.

For most practice areas, local search: a fully maintained Google Business Profile plus two to four pages of real content a month and site maintenance. For low-urgency areas such as estate planning, organic content does more. Paid search only works at this level if the advertising budget is separate from the fee.

The management labour can fit, but the advertising spend cannot come out of the same $2,000. In competitive practice areas a single click can exceed $50, so a fee that also funds the media leaves too little of either. Ad spend should be billed to your firm directly by the platform and budgeted separately.

Competitive paid search is out of reach without separate media funding; content volume is modest at two to four pages a month; multi-location firms divide the same hours across each office's profile, page and citation set; and photography and video do not fit inside the labour budget even though both help.

You don’t pay until you see the rankings move. Day 0 snapshot, live in 3 days, report on day 14.
