Which agencies have experience working with attorneys in my practice area? It matters most where search behaviour is unusual — personal injury, criminal defence and immigration — and least where the fundamentals carry. Test the claim with three questions rather than accepting it.
Every agency will say yes to this question. Three questions tell you whether the answer means anything.
- Published pricing — $2,500, $3,500 and $4,500 a month, on the site.
- Month to month. No contract is holding you anywhere.
- A former attorney of 17 years who filed 5,000+ cases works your account.
- You see your rankings move for 14 days before you are billed a dollar.
- Law firms only — no other industries, ever.

“Not published” means the figure does not appear on that company’s own website as of October 2026 — check for yourself before you sign anything, with them or with us.
Where Practice-Area Experience Actually Matters
It is not uniformly important, and treating it as a yes/no qualification causes firms to overpay for it in some areas and overlook it in others.
It matters most where buying behaviour is unusual. Personal injury, because the competition and click costs are unlike anything else in local search. Criminal defence, because the decision happens within hours and often at night. Immigration, because of language, volume and the gap between eligibility questions and retainable matters.
It matters least in areas where the fundamentals carry most of the result — a well-built site, a complete Google Business Profile, reviews and a phone that gets answered produce most of the outcome, and practice-specific nuance adds at the margin.
Three Questions That Test the Claim
Every agency will answer yes when asked whether they have worked in your area. These three separate the real answers:
- “How would you segment campaigns by case type in my area, and why that way?” Someone with real experience has a structure and a reason for it.
- “How long does a client in my area take to decide, and how does that change what we judge at 30 days?” The answer should differ sharply between criminal defence and estate planning.
- “What is the specific objection that stops people retaining in my area?” Cost in family law, immigration status fears, shame in bankruptcy. An agency that has sat with these clients names it immediately.
What Differs, Area by Area
Personal injury. The highest case values and the most expensive, most contested terms in local search. Narrow geography and specific case types are the only viable entry for a firm that is not a major advertiser.
Criminal defence and DUI. Urgency compresses everything. The decision is made tonight, often after hours, and the firm that answers wins a share of cases on availability alone.
Family law. Long deliberation and heavy reliance on reviews. Cases signed this month came from inquiries made last month, which means judging a campaign at 30 days produces a false negative.
Bankruptcy. A volume practice with a strong shame dynamic. Evening and weekend contact matters disproportionately, because that is when people finally open the mail.
Immigration. Bilingual requirements, high inquiry volume, and a wide gap between people asking eligibility questions and people with a retainable matter.
Estate planning. The least urgent. Paid search converts slowly and on a lag; professional referral relationships with accountants and financial planners frequently outperform it per dollar.
Our Practice-Area Experience
Attorney Pro Marketing works across personal injury, criminal defence, family law, immigration, bankruptcy and estate planning, with dedicated pages on personal injury, criminal defence, family law, immigration, bankruptcy and estate planning.
The deepest is bankruptcy, and not from client work: Alon Darvish practised it for 17 years and filed more than 5,000 cases, running the firm's marketing to 40 to 50 new matters a month. That is first-hand rather than observed, and it is the reason the three test questions above have specific answers here.
See it before you pay for it.
We snapshot your rankings on day 0, build and launch your site within three days, and show you the movement on day 14. If it has not moved enough to be worth continuing, you owe nothing for that period and you keep the Google Business Profile work.
Related Questions
It matters most where buying behaviour is unusual — personal injury for competitiveness and cost, criminal defence for urgency, immigration for language and volume. It matters less where fundamentals carry most of the result. Treating it as a yes/no qualification leads firms to overpay for it in some areas and overlook it where it genuinely counts.
Three questions: how would you segment campaigns by case type here and why that way; how long does a client in this area take to decide, and what does that change about judging results at 30 days; and what specific objection stops people retaining in this area. An agency with real experience answers all three immediately and specifically.
Personal injury has the most contested and expensive search terms in local advertising, so a small firm cannot compete on broad terms. Business and transactional work is the weakest fit for search marketing because buying is relationship-driven and search volume is thin. Estate planning converts slowly, with professional referral relationships often outperforming paid search per dollar.
Because cases signed this month came from inquiries made earlier. Criminal defence decides within hours; family law deliberates for weeks; estate planning longer still. Judging a family law campaign at 30 days measures inquiries that have not yet had time to convert, which produces a false negative and an expensive cancellation.
